whats it like end of feb beginning of march time? tan weather??

mid 60-mid 70, nice tanning weather, early march, not too hot, nice usually all day, but stats to go dark around 6pm, then you need a jacket. You dont have to rush to the pool becasuse it is alot quiter.

does the climate stay much the same or will it be cold?

As a guide only, expect minimum coastal day time temperatures of 22c. For night the minimum of 16c. You may get some hazy cloud, but be warned, you can still get sunburn very quickly. The sea temperature is more constant at a minimum of 22c.
Please bear in mind these are averages, so if you are lucky and hit a hot spell, great, but you could be unlucky and hit a cold rainy spell (unlikely)

(I'm thinking of going in feb) and it's fog for the next week or so.
Is this generally a problem out there, or on any other of the Canary Islands?
As you might expect i want winter sun!

i went there in august-and it was always very dull in the mornings till about 11 ish-then the sun would come out and it was lovely but i was a tad disappointed that we woke up to the dullness and i think that would put me off going again-it got quite windy too

i want to go there for my 18th and i have been advised that this is a good place to go and would like to know what the weather is normally like during january and to make sure that there is lots of things to do like shopping including food and attractions. Would be grateful of any answers as soon as possible. Many thanks!

Lanzarote is very windy in the summer, but not sure what it is like in the winter months.

I agree with the previous answerer that if you are looking for a fun "clubby" 18th party, Tenerife would be good. Although I hope it has improved since I went there for my 18th (in 1988 lol).

Hi, im going to Puerto de Santiago in tenerife on the 25th of july to the 8th of july, could someone please tell me if its nice here and if it has nice hot weather at this time? will i come back with a tan, and are there any water parks near here? and what are the beaches like? thanks

oooohh nice !! weather hot hot..30+ beatiful place lots to do, water parks short taxi ride away, lots of beaches all very clean but the sand ther is a funny colour due to it being volcanic..
you cant not enjoy it……….
